Merry Christmas!

This year has passed incredibly fast! Even when Kevin was gone, the Lord blessed me (the rest of the family???) that it went quickly. We are still plugging along on the remainder of our remodeling projects--including getting our roof reshingled (this week) and new windows next week. We still have tile to do and some painting. It will be nice to have it all done.

We went on an Army family retreat a week ago. We went to Wisconsin to Kalihari. It was amazing. We were supposed to fly out last Sunday afternoon, but Minneapolis got 17" of snow and the airport shut down. We ended up flying out at 5:30 am on Tuesday. It was a very long 2 extra days!

Other than lots of crisis management, things are good. I love the Christmas season. I love the music (most of it), the colors, the smells, the good German food on Christmas Eve, and being with family. We have been richly blessed as a family.
